NEW ADDITION TO OUR HERD!
We are
happy to announce that we now own 'Pippen', a gorgeous drum horse mare
imported from England. Pippen rides and drives. I've shown her in the
Colorado Draft Horse Classic in riding classes and she was a total doll,
even though she had never been shown before! What an incredible disposition
and superb movement Pippen has! We have fallen in love with Gypsy and
Drum horses along with our shires and we hope to be able to provide our
customers with some color, along with exceptional movement, incredible
dispositions and lots of feather!
When you cross a gypsy horse with either a Clydesdale or a Shire, the
result is a heavily feathered, possibly a colored drum horse that can
compete with the best of other heavy draft breeds in the show ring.
( We plan to breed Pippen
this year.)
About
us and our breeding program:
We
work hard to breed the very best quality shires and sporthorses in the
United States. We limit our breeding to very special mares and stallions
that only produce the ideal hitch or show horse. A foal with great conformation,
excellent hocks and perfect markings. We may not produce a huge number
of foals or have over 50 horses to choose from, but I guarantee you that
our foals will go out and win in the show ring as our show records have
proven!
We promise that we do not use steroids or other performance enhancing
drugs in our horses. We use only the most efficient worming, trimming
and vaccination programs. Our horses have wonderful green pasture in the
summer and quality hay in the winter. They are loved and cared for as
members of our family and it shows in the healthy foals we produce.
